Matt was able to spend time in Washington DC at a work conference several weeks ago. He loved touring all of the historical sites. Matt is very patriotic and he said his favorite site was Arlington Cemetery. He said it was very humbling to see the acres of grave sites of men that had given their lives for our country.

Matt I am sure you don't remember the first trip you took to Washington DC. You were one year of age and we had been in Michigan for the summer and on our way home we traveled all over including Washington DC. You were wigley and hated that car seat and wanted to run around everwhere. We camped along the way and while we were in DC we went to the white house, the different monuments, the Smithsonian Institute, and lots of other places.
